Summer break begins May 13!!


As you can see, the epic Summer Break Countdown of 2009 has begun!! This means there will be more time to clear out the whole to-do list, as well as our latest commission. I have to admit, I have a pile of inked line-arts Hana has sent me to finish coloring, so its mostly my fault everything is so late, but free time should be opening up soon! However, I will have a job this summer, so I won't have as much time as I'd like, but there will be far more time than during the usual school year for me Here's hoping to get lots of work done!

Hopefully this time the to-do list will be officially done before the end of Summer 2009!

• o1. All commissions are free of charge: As all commissions are completed in digital form, and commissioners receive no hard-copies of their work, commission work is of no cost, other than time, to us. Additionally, we create art purely as a hobby, never for profit, and view commissions simply as a challenge to try new things that we may not have thought of if left to our own devices. Thus we feel it is unnecessary to charge for commissions.


• o2. At least 2 reference images must be included with all commissions: We find it far too time consuming to find our own reference images, so as of May 2, 2009 all commissions are required to have 2 reference images, preferably from different angles to give the best feel for the character/piece being commissioned. If you are commissioning an OC, and have no reference image, an exceptionally detailed description is required.


• o3. Commissions including mature content are discouraged: While there can be a certain artistic quality to the human form, or a "violent" image, we are fairly uncomfortable with pieces bordering on the pornographic. Mature content may be requested, but keep in mind it also may be rejected.


• o4. A proof sketch will be sent out before any commission is completed: We want you to be happy with what you get; as such we will send out a proof sketch before inking and coloring the piece. Please be prompt in replying with your approval/suggestions, as the longer you take to reply, the more work will pile up and may end up pushing your commissions completion date back.


• o5. We reserve the right to reject/accept any commission: In accordance with (o3.) we reserve the right to reject any commission involving material we deem inappropriate or are uncomfortable dealing with.
